EATING DISORDERS WEBSITEThe Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre (KMHRC) has launched an eating disorders website! Kelty Eating Disorders provides eating disorder information and resources to support people of all ages in BC and their families, friends, educators and healthcare providers. The site features key eating disorders resources and a unique patient and family way finding tool to help individuals locate the most appropriate local eating disorders services across British Columbia. Eating Disorders Psycho educational videos:

These videos provide children, youth, parents and families with web based educational information on understanding and coping with eating disorders. The videos feature BC Children’s Hospital Eating Disorders Clinicians including Dr. Ron Manley, Dr. Pei-Yoong Lam, Jadine Cairns, and Dr. Bertrand Wicholas.

EATING DISORDERS PEER SUPPORT WORKERThe Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre now has a peer support worker for eating disorders. Amy provides information, support and system navigation to individuals of all ages struggling with eating disorders.

The updated Information Booklet for those living with an Eating Disorder<

The booklet, developed by Dr. Ron Manley and the Provincial Specialized Eating Disorders Program, provides parents, families, and service providers with information on eating disorders among children and adolescents, coping strategies, and guidelines for seeking help.
